Skijoring is a sport that originates in Scandinavia. It is simply a term used to describe a dog or dogs pulling someone on cross country skis. We have reserved dates to give everyone an opprotunity to experience what a great sport skijoring is. You can find us at Arrowhead Provincial Park in Huntsville on February 28th, March 14th and 21st from 10am to 3pm. I will also be at Gull Lake park in Gravenhurst at 3pm. This is in conjunction with the Gravenhurst Winter Carnival.
If you don't have the equipment, that's alright. There will be some gear to borrow and instruction on how to effectively ski with your dog. This is a great chance to try a new old sport with your own dog (who should be more than 30lbs).
